2002
Mit drei im Vorjahr
gewonnenen Wanderpokalen fuhr unsere Schwimmauswahl
zum 8. Internationalen
Erzgebirgsschwimmcup in das „Aqua Marien“ nach Marienberg.
Der große Pokal für den Sieg in der Mannschaftswertung sollte wieder mit
nach Grimma
genommen werden. Unter den 26 Mannschaften
befanden sich auch Schwimmclubs aus
Chemnitz, Leipzig, München, Dresden, Erfurt und Halle.
Am ersten Wettkampftag
schwammen wieder die jüngeren Jahrgänge um Medaillen und
Mannschaftspunkte. Als stärkste
Mannschaft erwiesen sich hier die Sportler des Hainsberger
SV. Mit 225 Punkten
Vorsprung vor unseren kleinen Leistungs-
schwimmern (4. Platz)
beendeten sie ihre Wettkämpfe. Viele persönlichen Rekorde und gute
Platzierungen konnten den Ausfall einer
Schwimmerin leider nicht kompensieren. Vor allem
Sophie Roßner, Michaela Schönfeld, Norman Schmidt und Jörg
Siegemund waren bei den
„Kleinen“ unsere Leistungsträger.
Mit dem 100 m Schmetterlingsschwimmen begannen die Wettkämpfe des zweiten
Tages.
Mit mehreren ersten Plätzen und jeweils 15
Punkten für die Mannschafts-
wertung war die Stimmung in unserem Team wieder auf dem Höhepunkt.
Insgesamt
23 erste
Plätze, 21 zweite und 16 dritte Plätze sind das Ergebnis der Mannschaft beim
Kampf um die Pokalverteitigung. Unsere Sportler konnten den Abstand zum
Hainsberger SV
gewaltig verringern, aber ihren Mannschaftssieg nicht
verhindern. Bei
drei
neuen Muldentalkreisrekorden (Sebastian Kunze 50 F 0:25,48 ;
Tony Thalmann 100 Lag. 1:03,42 ; Ronny Köhler 50 R 0:30,17) ,weiteren 8 Jahrgangs-
rekorden (Christopher und Norman
Schmidt, Thomas Zeuner, Claudia Sommer und Stefanie Höhne)
und 3 Staffelsiegen war die Freude über die erreichten Ergebnisse
groß. Mit Ronny Köhler (Jg 88) und
Tony Thalmann
(Jg 87) wurden auch zwei Sportler unserer
Mannschaft für die punktbeste Leistung
in ihrem
Jahrgang geehrt.
Die Abteilungsleitung
gratuliert recht herzlich zu diesen Ergebnissen und wünscht für das neue Jahr
ebenfalls viel Erfolg. Für
